Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 WiiMarvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Wii: The fans of comics and video games already know without a doubt the famous X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. These titles use more or less the same recipe we propose a mixture of RPG and action game sauce superhero. Simply put it is always to lead a team of four characters from the Marvel universe and use their special powers to carry out missions that are never really in finesse. We found exactly the same pattern in this second episode of Marvel Ultimate Alliance but the freshman still has a strong argument for itself apart from its predecessors: it offers a particularly attractive scenario which is based on the famous Civil War saga.
The beginning of this episode is reminiscent of the events of the first Nick Fury, head of SHIELD, has charged you to attack once again Latveria, the former Nation of Doom is still suspected of helping the villains present on American soil. However, this operation was carried out without government approval and Fury is therefore totally disavowed by the government when Latveria troops decide to retaliate by conducting deadly attacks. The image of the superhero as a whole is already far from rosy and things are not ready to arrange. Indeed an altercation between a group of vigilantes and a team of villains has simply resulted in the destruction of an entire district of the city of Stamford, killing hundreds of people. Under these conditions a law finally passed to strictly regulate the activity of super-heroes: those who have power must now prove their identity to register with authorities and work directly on behalf of SHIELD to understand their colleagues who refuse to comply with this requirement.
Specifically, after a few hours of gaming you are prompted to make a choice: either you sign to join Iron Man in his crusade for law enforcement, or you join Captain America fighting for freedom on the underground. The idea of attending impressive battles between super heroes and to choose sides is necessarily drool with envy lovers of the Marvel Universe, unfortunately, these two aspects that are yet the salt of the Civil War saga does here are very high. You certainly meet some mythical figures but fighting against them were ultimately not much epic and always prove very confusing. Similarly, there will be no major changes that you choose to take one side or another, you are entitled to some alternative missions and you will not use certain characters in an instant. Contrary to the comic and strange as it may seem, the civil war between the super-hero does not like the outcome of this scenario. An even more powerful enemy will finally emerged which has the effect of reconciling the two camps, something that was unthinkable in the pages of comics. This exploitation of the Civil War saga is rather disappointing if the beginning is quite promising, unfortunately, things eventually go astray and dangerously away from the spirit of the original comics.
The management of the camera is simply atrocious, the clashes are still extremely confusing and you'll always find it hard to understand anything even when your eyes are accustomed to visual mush on the screen. You may not need to refer you because you will face enemies devoid of any embryo neuron, unfortunately, the three gentlemen that you do not point directly seem equally brainless. You'll eventually feel better to see you again in an adaptation of Marvel Zombies that of Civil War... You will therefore understand, only one conclusion: do not be attracted by the famous poster of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for Wii.
