Since being released in 2006 the Wii console has remained the same until now. Nintendo have created a Black Nintendo Wii console. The Black Wii console's technical specification remains the same as the White console. The second generation of Wii console sees a change to the Wii remote. Consoles now include 1 Wii MotionPlus adapter.

The newer third generation Wii consoles (Dec 2010 onwards) have RemotePlus, that is MotionPlus built inside Wii Remotes. Compare bundle prices against the hardware.
