The Wii Classic controller provides functionality for WiiWare games to play on Wii consoles. A Wii Nunchuk must connect to the Classic controller for the circuit to operate. The Classic Controller essentially replaces the Wii Remote when playing WiiWare downloads. Classic retro games from earlier eras can be downloaded from the Nintendo Wii Shop along with new exclusive titles
Since the black Nintendo Wii console was launched, Wii have been updating the Official hardware collection too. The updated Wii Black Classic Controller Pro features a more comfortable design with handles.
