![]() Wii Select Budget GamesPlaying video games has been an affordable passion for most kids and even adults for quite some time now. New games are being developed all the time to keep us entertained, meanwhile developers feel that game prices are too cheap, and look to boost returns by adding download packs and maps, yet the Wii can't accommodate much extra data, due to the lack of a hard drive. So Wii games sell cheaper than other consoles, making the console a popular choice pricewise. By December the Wii turns five years old, and Nintendo had to come up with a new way to temp customers away from buying PS3 or Xbox. Xbox has Classic games, PlayStation has Platimum, yet bestselling Wii titles have not been re-released into budget box's with distinct sleeves saying so. Until now. Wii Selects budget games are now in the market to ensure that more and more people are able to afford games on a budget. Nintendo is planning to slash their prices so that the consoles and games come within the reach of more people. It is rumored that the price of a new Wii console package (updated Summer 2011) will shortly drop down to £99 and a new budget game series is being released by the name of Wii select budget games. Because Wii Sports was a Wii bundle free game, it's been replaced by Mario Kart (Wii) in new console bundles. The USA is set to get cheaper Wii budget select games too. Rumours of titles comming soon include - Twilight Princes, Brawl, Super Smash Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario Sluggers. These games will be introduced with $19.99 versions. The budget titles of Wii Select budget games will be launched along with the discounted Wii console.
